On the appeal of the flying man from Mexico



Activities "Volador of Papantla" or "Men of Papantla flying" in action at Chapultepec Park in Mexico City, Wednesday 15 Juni, 2011. In this attraction, the player's feet attached to a rope to a pole with his head under. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) created "Voladores of Papantla" or on the World Heritage 30th September, 2009. Papantla is a city in the state of Veracruz in eastern Mexico. This attraction is the ritual at the Central American community of the pre-Hispanic times through out. Vintage comes this dance from civilization Nahua people, Huasteca and Otomi live in central Mexico. This dance is then extended to the Central American region.

This ritual consists of dancing pole and climb as high as 30 meters. Performed by five years. A man tied her legs to walk, and four others play flutes and drums. A myth, the ritual was created to ask the gods to end a severe drought.
